Why did you choose this profession?
Being a teacher is not just a profession; it’s a calling. It entails great responsibility and love. Love is the defining quality of this profession: first and foremost, love for children – it’s hardly possible to become a teacher without it; love for work – being a teacher implies daily hard work; love for life – without optimism, it’s impossible to experience the joy of discovery. This choice is made from the heart; it’s the call of my soul.
Even when I finished first grade, I already knew I would be a teacher, and since I was born into a family of teachers, I couldn’t imagine myself in any other profession then, and I still can’t now…
Why do you love your subject?
In the modern world, the future lies in mathematics! When I see children grow, develop, and explore the world, I feel joy and pride to be a part of it.
How can your subject be useful in life?
Mathematics is the foundation for all sciences. It’s impossible to study physics, chemistry, biology if you can’t perform necessary calculations. To succeed and receive a good education, you need to have a good understanding of mathematics.
