Rhythmic Gymnastics Program
We are pleased to announce the upcoming launch of our Rhythmic Gymnastics Program at Brooklyn School of Excellence, beginning in early March.
Give your child the opportunity to explore rhythmic gymnastics in a structured, professional training environment. In preparation for the program, we will be hosting student try-outs at the school.
Program Highlights:
• Structured movement discipline
• Development of posture, strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and endurance
• Growth in focus, confidence, musicality, and artistic expression
• Training with rope, hoop, ball, clubs, and ribbon
• Classical choreography foundations (plié, relevé, sauté, turns)
• Small group instruction for individualized attention
During the try-outs, students will participate in a sample training session, meet the coach, and gain a clear understanding of the program structure and expectations. Families interested in continuing may register for the full program following the try-outs.
Instructor:
Yevheniia Lohvynenko — Master’s Degree in Olympic and Professional Sport and Physical Education; USA Gymnastics Member; Candidate Master of Sports of Ukraine; former National Team member and international medalist; over 20 years of experience in youth sports and 4 years coaching in the U.S. (Beginner, Pre-Team, Levels 4–5).
Uniform Requirements:
• Black leggings and T-shirt
• White socks
• Hair neatly secured in a bun
Equipment:
All equipment will be provided during the trial period. Personal apparatus will be introduced after enrollment.
