We are excited to announce Brooklyn School of Excellence’s Annual Spelling Bee!
- The school bee will be held on Monday, December 11th.
- Students will compete against their classmates to determine which 2 students will move on to the Regional Spelling Bee and a chance to compete at the NYC Spelling Bee in March 2024.
- Please note: Only students grades 4-8 are eligible to compete in the official, city-wide bee. Students in grades 1-3 and 9-10 will still have the opportunity to compete against their classmates in our school bee for fun. Grades 1-3 have their own lists and grades 9-10 will compete with words from units 1-10 in Vocabulary for Achievement.
- Word lists for these grades will be distributed in ELA class.
