First Day of School
Welcome back to Brooklyn School of Excellence! Tuesday, September 8, marks the first day of the 2026–2027 school year and the beginning of a new chapter for our students, families, teachers, and staff.
The first day is an opportunity for students to reconnect with their school community, meet their teachers and classmates, and begin settling into the routines and expectations of the year ahead. We are excited to support every student as they build confidence, explore new interests, strengthen their academic skills, and work toward meaningful goals.
Please note: Afterschool, clubs, and tutoring will not be available on the first day of school. Families should make the necessary arrangements in advance.
